Winter Works
Exploring a mixture of media
While looking forward to Spring with all its promise, Winter in the studio had me mixing things up. Combining acrylic and cold wax paintings with hand painted collage papers. Some are paintings on paper others on panel. Added collage elements create an extra layer of interest and texture.
As an abstract artist I work intuitively. My challenge is to nudge the viewer to look beyond what is recognizable. Translating visual clues into colorful abstraction and making connections. I hope you enjoy this new work!
