For me its getting in my studio to paint!
Recharging in my studio, I often get out my paints to paint alla prima. Alla prima means “at first attempt”.This technique suits me. Painting spontaneously, wet on wet, mixing color as I go. Working small, I often complete a piece in one session.
These intimate little pieces capture the energy I feel when escaping to my studio to play with color, letting creativity fly!
